Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. Her birth date was 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox won a scholarship award to study at the London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox survived off an allowance for students working part-time in order to supplement her earnings. Lennox believed that her abilities weren't as good as those of those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she began thinking about other routes she could choose. Lennox was a flute player in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. But she quit when the band was featured on I.T.V.s talent contest New Faces. She sang lead for The Tourists (a British popband) between 1977 and 1980. The band was where she got to know Dave Stewart and together they formed The duo Eurythmics. Lennox then began to work on her debut solo album Diva that was out by 1992. This album became a huge success, both in terms of selling and critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album debuted on October 31, 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favourite blues and soul tracks. Lepidoptera is a compilation of four impromptu piano pieces was released by Lennox in May 2019. The E.P. The singer-songwriter released her debut solo album along with her art work in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I'm letting You Go."
